Membership
It’s members are subject to pentathlon-scotland rules and bye-laws; as agreed by
Pentathlon GB and pentathlon-scotland in The Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) made on 15th April 2009 pentathletes
living in Scotland may join either or both Associations and this also applies to anyone living in any part of Great Britain.
Membership to pentathlon-scotland automatically gives a non-voting membership to Pentathlon GBbut membership
to Pentathlon GB does not confer non-voting membership to pentathlon-scotland.
Only fully paid-up members of pentathlon-scotland will enjoy
all the benefits open to members in Scotland which includes:
·ability to compete
at all Scottish Championships; ·inclusion on Scottish Ranking Lists; ·ability to attend and the support in the Pathway Training Programme.
Persons wishing to participate in pentathlon-scotland activities require
to be members of the Association to ensure the appropriate Insurance and Child Protection cover is in place under Scottish
Law.
